Williamsville Central School District Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program​

 

Preparing for Kindergarten is so much fun!

​

Children who turn 4 by December 1st will enjoy a comprehensive pre-kindergarten program based on the Williamsville School District's UPK program that closely follows the NYS Common Core Curriculum. Teachers embrace the fact that each child is unique and through differentiated instruction, they are able to teach to the individual strengths and needs of your child. Launchpad for Learning's goal is to foster a life-long love of learning through interactive and exciting activities focused on math, science, sensory tables, writing, literacy, phonics, pre-reading, music and movement, outside play, circle time, social studies, snack, social interaction and more!

Class Dates & Time: School schedule closely follows the Williamsville District calendar. Families must register through the Williamsville District. 

​

Class Size: 18 Students with 1 Lead Teacher and 1 Assistant

​

Potty training: Required

​

Attendance: Families are expected to treat this program like an elementary school class and make every effort for children to attend and to be on time. Students who approach 10 days of being absent or tardy will be notified by the district that they are at risk of losing their place in the program. 

​

Parent Participation: Highly encouraged / Open door policy. Please allow teachers time to acclimate students during the first month of school prior to volunteering or visiting in the classroom.
